Account Executive – Trade Shows/Events
We’re recruiting for a Account Executive to join a well-established custom exhibit house in the Chicago area. This individual will be responsible for building client relationships and selling custom trade show exhibits, events, and branded environments. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing role and is highly proactive when it comes to prospecting and securing new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:

Prospect, identify, and secure new business opportunities in the trade show and experiential space

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from concept through execution

Lead client presentations, proposal development, and strategic planning

Collaborate with internal teams (design, estimating, project management) to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget

Track project progress, maintain timelines, and proactively address challenges

Attend key trade shows, client meetings, and industry events as needed
Requirements:

3–5+ years of experience in trade shows, experiential marketing, or custom fabrication

Strong understanding of trade show exhibit design, production, and logistics

Proven success in new business development and sales with revenue goals

Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills

Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and events

Self-starter with strong prospecting skills and a hunter mindset
Compensation:
-
Base Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 (commensurate with experience)

Commission: Uncapped
