Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales through prospecting, networking, industry events, and in-person meetings. The BDM responsibilities will also include oversight of proposals, service agreements, and estimating (when needed). The BDM will work closely with and report directly to the Business Development Director while collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth program launches. We are seeking dynamic, driven individuals who have previously sold for a commercial printer, general contractor, or fabrication company.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify and target potential clients in the A&D and GC community, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to drive new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for expanding market reach and increasing revenue.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, highlighting the company’s capabilities and value proposition.

Project Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, from initial consultation to final delivery.
  • Work closely with internal teams to gather project requirements, establish timelines, and develop project plans to ensure successful execution and delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including design, production, and logistics, to ensure project milestones are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability by optimizing resources and managing costs effectively.
  • Proactively identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during the project, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction or related field
  • Proven track record of success in business development and sales, preferably in the commercial print industry or custom manufacturing
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
