Environmental Graphic Designer – Custom Architectural Signage

The Sign Designer will play a key role in leading signage projects from initial concept through design intent approval. This individual will combine strong creative design skills with exceptional attention to detail and technical precision. The ideal candidate is confident presenting work to clients, skilled at managing complex deliverables, and thrives in both independent and collaborative environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead signage design projects from concept through completion.
• Guide clients through the design process, including video presentations and feedback sessions.
• Develop original design concepts and detailed drawings using Adobe Illustrator.
• Organize and manage messaging, locations, and revisions across multiple project deliverables.
• Design with code compliance and fabrication feasibility in mind.
• Create signage packages, including ADA and custom architectural signage.
• Manage timelines and tasks independently with minimal direction.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel.  SignAgent experience is a plus!
• Portfolio must include both creative concepts and technical drawings.
• Experience in signage design, including ADA signage and fabrication-aware planning.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple active projects.
