General Manager

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the operations and drive the success and growth of one of our client’s newest service centers. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, including production, sales, customer service, and strategic planning. This pivotal role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in large-format printing, signage, or temporary wall systems, who can inspire excellence, foster a culture of collaboration, and guide the company toward achieving its goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the company, setting clear goals and objectives to drive growth and profitability.
  • Oversee all aspects of operations, including production scheduling, quality control, inventory management, and facility maintenance, to ensure efficient and effective workflows.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to expand our client base, increase market share, and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the industry.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement, promoting employee engagement, development, and retention.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, industry partners, and regulatory agencies.
  • Monitor financial performance, budgetary compliance, and operational metrics, taking proactive measures to address any variances or challenges.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive developments, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Lead by example, upholding the company’s values, ethics, and commitment to quality, safety, and environmental sustainability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in the large format printing, temporary wall systems, trade shows or other custom fabricated products, with a demonstrated track record of success in driving business growth and operational excellence.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, build consensus, and drive results.
  • Proven strategic planning and decision-making abilities, with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
