Regional Sales Executive – Trade Shows

As a Regional Sales Executive, you will drive sales growth within your assigned territory by building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying their needs, and offering tailored solutions in displays, graphics, and custom fabrications. This position requires a combination of technical knowledge, consultative sales skills, and a proactive approach to client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify, prospect, and engage with exhibit houses, creative agencies, commercial printers, and sign shops within your region.
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions to generate leads and build brand presence.

Consultative Selling:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs for custom fabrication, graphics, and display solutions.
  • Present tailored solutions, highlighting product capabilities and benefits to address client requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and quotes that align with client budgets and project timelines.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop long-term partnerships with clients, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and ensuring repeat business.
  • Maintain consistent communication to provide updates, address concerns, and offer additional products or services.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to gather client feedback and identify new opportunities.

Project Coordination:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are executed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
  • Monitor and manage project timelines and budgets, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients as needed throughout the project lifecycle.

Market Intelligence and Strategy:

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies in visual communications and fabrication.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on client needs, market dynamics, and potential opportunities for innovation.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the trade show industry
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals and building strong client relationships.
  • Prior experience calling on or selling to exhibit houses, agencies, sign shops, or commercial printers.

Skills:

  • Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to develop creative solutions for complex client needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities to handle multiple client engagements simultaneously.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Design, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Other Requirements:

  • Familiarity with fabrication processes, materials, and production workflows is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and presentation tools.
  • Willingness to travel regionally for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
