Sr. Business Development Manager – Branded Environments
The Sr. Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities within hospitality, education, corporate, experiential, retail, and other branded environment markets. This role requires a consultative approach to selling, a deep understanding of the design-build process, and the ability to cultivate lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Sales:
- Identify, target, and pursue new business opportunities in the branded environments and design-build sectors.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
- Establish relationships with decision-makers in industries such as hospitality, corporate, education, retail, or related experiential/branded environments.
- Consultative Selling:
- Understand client needs and objectives to propose tailored solutions that align with their brand identity and goals.
- Collaborate with internal design and engineering teams to develop proposals that address client requirements.
- Deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and sales pitches to secure new business.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as clients’ primary point of contact, ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships to promote repeat business and client referrals.
- Actively engage in follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services.
- Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to communicate client requirements and resolve any issues proactively.
- Market Analysis & Industry Knowledge:
- Stay informed of market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in design-build and branded environments.
- Use market intelligence to refine sales strategies and identify new growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in design-build services, branded environments, experiential marketing, or related industries.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Skills:
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to align solutions to client needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills to handle multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, presentations, and industry events as needed.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and presentation software.
