National Account Sales Manager – Facilities & Construction Services
The National Account Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth within the petroleum industry by developing and managing relationships with national accounts, including chain convenience stores and fuel retailers, gas station operators, oil and gas producers, petroleum distributors, and other related organizations. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of selling facilities and construction services while building long-term partnerships with key decision-makers across the petroleum sector.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of successful outside sales experience selling directly to customers within the petroleum industry, including gas station operators, convenience store chains, oil producers, petroleum marketers, or related organizations.
- Demonstrated success selling facilities services, construction services, and maintenance programs.
- Established network of contacts and decision-makers within the petroleum industry.
- Proven ability to develop national accounts and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support customer meetings, prospecting efforts, and industry events.
- Experience selling to multi-site or national petroleum brands and operators.
Success in This Role
To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of outside sales within the petroleum industry and experience selling facilities maintenance, construction services, or maintenance programs. You bring an established network of industry contacts, excel at building long-term relationships with national accounts, and consistently achieve sales goals through a consultative, relationship-driven approach. Self-motivation, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are essential to success.
