Senior Account Executive – Branded Environments, Museums + Permanent Installations

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Account Executive with experience in branded environments, experiential spaces, museum exhibits, and permanent installations to identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities. This individual will play a key role in driving company growth by building relationships with prospective clients, developing new accounts, and selling custom-designed and fabricated environments that bring brands, stories, and spaces to life.

This is a hunter-focused sales position for someone who is comfortable prospecting, networking, developing new business, and managing the sales process from initial outreach through closing. The ideal candidate understands how to sell complex, custom projects that involve creative design, technical development, fabrication, and installation. They will serve as a primary point of contact for clients while partnering with internal Design, Estimating, Engineering, Project Management, and Production teams to develop solutions that align with each client’s vision, objectives, and budget.

The right person is entrepreneurial, relationship-driven, and knowledgeable about the branded environment and permanent installation space, with the ability to turn new relationships and opportunities into long-term business.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within branded environments, museums, cultural institutions, visitor centers, corporate spaces, and permanent installations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with architects, designers, exhibit developers, museum professionals, marketing teams, corporate decision-makers, and other key industry contacts.
  • Proactively prospect through networking, referrals, industry events, research, and direct outreach to build a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Lead the full sales cycle, including initial outreach, discovery, needs assessment, presentations, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
  • Understand client objectives and translate them into custom environmental, experiential, and permanent installation solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal Design, Estimating, Engineering, Project Management, and Production teams to develop concepts, budgets, and project proposals.
  • Present company capabilities, creative concepts, fabrication expertise, and project solutions to prospective and existing clients.
  • Maintain ownership of client relationships throughout the sales process and remain engaged as projects transition into design, development, and execution.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and establish long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity, sales forecasts, and client information within the company’s CRM system.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities within the branded environment and museum markets.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales or business development experience within branded environments, experiential design, museums, permanent installations, custom fabrication, or a related industry.
  • Experience selling custom-designed and fabricated environments, exhibits, installations, or architectural spaces.
  • Background with a design-build firm, exhibit house, experiential agency, museum fabricator, or environmental graphics company strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to independently generate new business, develop relationships, and close complex projects.
  • Established network of contacts within the museum, architecture, design, corporate, experiential, or branded environment industries is a plus.
  • Understanding of the project lifecycle, including creative development, design, engineering, estimating, fabrication, production, and installation.
  • Strong consultative selling, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand client needs and communicate creative and technical solutions effectively.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities with varying timelines and project scopes.
  • Experience using CRM tools to manage pipeline activity, forecasts, and client relationships.

What’s Offered

  • Competitive base salary with uncapped commission and/or performance-based incentives.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
  • Paid time off and company holidays.
  • Opportunity to work on high-profile branded environments, museum exhibits, and permanent installations.
  • Access to experienced internal teams across creative design, engineering, estimating, project management, and fabrication.
  • A collaborative environment where sales has a direct impact on company growth and new market development.
  • Opportunity to build and develop long-term client relationships while helping bring unique spaces and experiences to life.
